Chumie is a doctoral student in Brown University's Department of Religious Studies, working on her Ph.D. in Philosophy of Religion and Religious Ethics.  She received her B.A. in Philosophy and Biology from Stern College for Women and her M.A. in Jewish Philosophy from the Bernard Revel Graduate School of Jewish Studies.  She is an alumna of the Graduate Program for Advanced Talmudic Studies (GPATS), and has studied at the Drisha Institute and the Center for Modern Torah Leadership's Summer Beit Midrash.  She currently lives in Providence, RI with her husband, Mayer Juni.
