This Shabbat at 5:30pm Rabbi Nadel will be giving a Shabbat HaGadol Drasha on "The Great Machine Matzah Controversy."

The Industrial Revolution in Europe brought about many innovations in technology, manufacturing and production. When matzah began being produced by machine in the mid-19th Century, a controversy erupted amongst the great Rabbinic authorities of the time.

This Shabbat we will explore the halakhik and socio-historical background to this most interesting dispute
