Year-Long Learning Project 5775
Year-Long Learning Project 5775
This year our shul will undertake to learn:
"The Concise Book of Mitzvoth"
by the Chafetz Chayim
Our goal is to have every family in our shul learn just SIX mitzvot per week in order to finish by next Yom Kippur.
We are encouraging families to study these mitzvot at each of the meals every Shabbat in your homes.
Rabbi Weinberg has bought every family in our shul a copy of the book to keep in your homes by your Shabbat table. The book contains a detailed schedule of which mitzvot to study each week so that the whole shul can be learning the same thing at any given time.
If you have not claimed your book yet, please email or call Rabbi Weinberg to arrange to pick it up.
In addition to your home learning, each Friday night in shul Rabbi Weinberg will teach the first of the mitzvot that are to be studied that week to get the ball rolling. Also, the mitzvot of that week will be listed in the bulletin each Shabbat.
