ABOUT OUR SPEAKER
Hadas Peles, AIPAC Area Director, is responsible for AIPAC’s political, development, and grassroots work in Connecticut and Rhode Island. In the Greater Hartford area, Hadas develops bi-partisan, pro-Israel political activism that ensures Israel’s safety and security, and a strong U.S.-Israel relationship.
Hadas has a degree in Political Science from the University of Georgia’s School of Public and International Affairs. Prior to her time at AIPAC, Hadas worked on local, state, and national policy and campaign efforts. She served as a press relations staffer on behalf of the city of Athens, Georgia, and went on to serve as an immigration policy specialist for the University of Georgia. As a student, Hadas interned for Congressman Hank Johnson on Capitol Hill and was named to AIPAC’s National Council as student activist of the year in 2008.
Hadas was born in Israel and moved to the United States as a child. She is fluent in Hebrew and travels to the Middle East often.
ABOUT AIPAC
The Jewish state is under consistent threat and relies on support from America in order to confront the challenges it faces. The best way to guarantee that the U.S. stands with Israel is through bipartisan support in Congress. AIPAC is focused exclusively on strengthening the U.S.-Israel relationship and works with both political parties to ensure that Democrats and Republicans come together to keep Israel safe.
